Getting a ticket doesn’t make for a good day. For most members of the driving public, though, it is a part of life. An average, .23 tickets are given for each and every 100,000 miles somebody drives. Although it may be the drivers and not the cars, some cars are more likely to be issued tickets than others. 10 cars based on 2007 and 2008 averages were more likely to be ticketed.

The Toyota Matrix is tenth

Drivers in a Toyota Matrix, on average, received 2.64 times more tickets than most drivers. At a rate of .6 tickets per 100,000 miles driven, this car is just the first of many Toyota cars to make the list.

Ninth is going to be the Audi A4

As the Audi A4 is speedy and pretty cheap, those who buy it tend to be younger with terrible driving habits.

Eighth on the list is the Subaru Outback

All-weather capability and hauling capacity combined apparently is the perfect recipe for a ticket. For each and every 100,000 miles, this car gets .62 tickets as they are easy to see on any road.

Seventh is Scion xA

Concentrated in urban environments, where tickets tend to be more common, the Scion xA tends to clock in at about .63 tickets per 100,000 miles.

6 – Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG

The first muscle car on the list, drivers of this 500-horsepower beast get 2.76 times more tickets than average.

5-It’s the Toyota Camry Solara

This car is given to a wide variety of individuals and has a sun roof and two doors. 2.95 times more than average do these cars get tickets.

4- It is the Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG

This Mercedes has a huge jump in tickets. The car gets 3.97 more tickets than average and has a lot of horse power.

The Scion xB is third

Higher off the ground and boxy, this Scion xB gets an average of almost one ticket per 100,000 miles – more than four times the average of most.

The Scion tC is second

The most classic-looking Scion gets about 4.6 times the number of tickets than most. 1.05 tickets are given each 100,000 miles this car decides to travel.

The Hummer H2/H3 is first

Hummers will get you more tickets than any automobile driven. It is unclear whether it directly correlates with the car or with the personality type purchasing the car, but one thing is clear; drivers of Hummers get much more tickets than anything else.

What gets the least tickets? The Jaguar XJ Sedan tended to be the car.
